Frame: The 72” tall frame is taller than most dollies, maximizing leverage and giving you extra room for larger inflatables or carrying accessories such as blowers along with the inflatable. Since inflatables are ROUND, I designed a curved frame to cradle inflatables and keep them from rolling off the dolly. Look around… almost every inflatable dolly on the market has a flat frame and inflatables will slide right off of them!
Axle, Bearings & Hubs: The axle setup on the Jolly Dolly is by far the most substantial of any hand truck on the market. It is basically a shortened version of the axles found on boat and utility trailers. They are designed to handle unforgiving pounding with loads up to 1000 pounds per wheel at highway speeds. Why the overkill? Because it gives the Jolly Dolly an ultra-smooth ride and eliminates the hassle of replacing worn out bearings. All other hand trucks use cheap roller bearings that wear out and break over time.
Tires & Wheels: We use trailer tires and trailer wheels (designed for utility and boat trailers). Other dollies use lawnmower, wheel barrow, or dolly wheels. Our wheels and tires have a higher weight rating and will last longer because they are designed to take a beating. If you move water slide inflatables, you might have to deal with mud. These tires will handle mud, sand, gravel, or any other terrain.
Foot Brake: Our foot brake system is far superior to the flimsy ones found on other dollies. It’s fabricated from 3/16” steel plate and solid steel rods. It doesn’t just rub the tires and slow them down, it completely locks them in place, making pulling back the dolly a breeze.
Cargo Capability: Besides hauling bounce houses and water slides, the Jolly Dolly can haul accessories like blowers, cords, sandbags, tarps, etc. using the specially designed vertical cargo rails that make this possible. Other dollies have only cross members with gaps between them, so items that size will fall right through.
Neutral Grip Handles: Inspired by a hex bar used in weightlifting, the handles are designed for maximum comfort and proper form when lifting and carrying heavy loads. Most dollies use a horizontal bar for a handle. That puts extra stress on your hands, wrists, shoulders and back.
Torso Assisted Pushing: Unlike other dollies, the top rail of the frame is flat so you can comfortably use your torso help push. This transfers your leg power directly to the dolly, giving you maximum pushing power.Cargo Bay: Besides hauling bounce houses and water slides, the Jolly Dolly can haul accessories like blowers, cords, sandbags, tarps, etc. using the specially designed vertical cargo rails that make this possible. Other dollies have only cross members with gaps between them, so items that size will fall right through.
